It’s been many years since we’ve been to Japan, but we still dream of it often. It was our first international trip together (and Aaron’s first ever), and it holds many fond memories. We’ve certainly learned a lot since that first trip, and we’d design an entirely different one now. But these pictures still take me back and make me wish I was there once again.
Come dream of Japan with us. These images are sure to inspire wanderlust for Japan for you as well!
We spent over six months touring all over Europe, and we enjoyed so many of its beautiful villages and cities. However, we weren’t expecting to end up adoring Croatia as much as we do now. Every new city had its own vibe and wonderful tidbits to discover, and the more we moved throughout the country, the more we found to keep us there.
These are just some of the many photos that represent the splendor of Croatia, and we hope they inspire you to visit and discover firsthand why we love it so much.
Wherever we travel, we’re always in search of the best pictures. After all, we love all the pretty things! We spent two weeks exploring Portugal, and while there’s so much more we wish to see, we experienced enough to safely declare that we love it! We know you’ll fall in love with Portugal as well, especially with the help of these photos.
We are currently exploring gorgeous Patagonia instead of sitting behind our computers, so forgive the lack of a full post this week. Instead, we bring to you a glimpse of the iconic Torres Del Paine! We hiked 10.6 miles up about a net 4000 feet to this beautiful spot so you don’t have to. 🙂 Expect a full post on this gruelling hike soon! We are also sharing more pictures and videos of this stunning region on social media, so come join the conversation there!
As a photographer, I couldn’t wait to get to Namibia. I’ve dreamt about going on an African safari for years, and I was told this was a great alternative to the far more popular Tanzania. What I didn’t realize is that Namibia has so much more to offer than just elephants and zebras. If you’re debating a trip to this beautiful country, here are some photos that should tip the scales.
With so many museums to choose from in Frankfurt, how does one prioritize? Aaron wanted to visit the History Museum. I was most drawn to the art of the Stadel or the cinema showcases of the Filmmuseum. These are all discounted with a Frankfurt Card, so we figured we’d start with one and just go down the line; why not see them all?
Time wound up putting a stop to that idea, but we were fortunate to have started with what I think was the most interesting of them all – because it was the only one we actually had time to see. It had so many fascinating exhibits to see, it’s no wonder we ended up spending an entire day there.
Here are 11 amazing reasons to visit the Historisches Museum Frankfurt.
Norway is a stunning country to visit; the landscapes are national-park-quality no matter where you go. And there are many ways to take it all in. We picked up a rental car and drove throughout most of our trip, but we also stopped a few times to hit the trails. Some of these were planned, but most were merely a case of “oh look, a trail! I wonder where that goes!”
So of all the areas we visited, which topped our list? Read on to find out!
Packing for a year-long world trip has felt overwhelming at times. Even being about a year away, we are starting to prepare for this. With so many different places and climates it can be tough to figure out what to bring with us. Luckily we have a local community of travelers whom we can get some advice from. Here are some questions we asked or researched on our own.
